Challenge

Black Moor paints one of a kind sneakers by hand. The brand needed a mark that felt just as handmade, and packaging that made every delivery feel like part of the art.

Audience & goals

Sneaker collectors and fans ordering custom painted kicks, often sharing their unboxing online.

Approach

  1. 01Sketched and inked a detailed black moor goldfish wrapped around crossed paint brushes.
  2. 02Set the emblem on a bold orange circle and paired it with a heavy condensed wordmark.
  3. 03Built a repeat pattern of clouds, ink drips and sneakers for the brand box.
  4. 04Turned the same pattern into purple branded packing tape that seals every order.
